Something deliciously wicked this way comes

In many ways this one is an homage to the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.

When I first started thinking about it. I wanted to use the footsteps that you see on the Marauder’s Map in the story. The one that opens with the quote,” I solemnly swear I am up to no good”. I tried it with high heel foot steps as I wanted it to be a women getting into mischief in the kitchen but no one recognized what it was.

The words are a tasty variation to a song in Harry Potter called Double Trouble but the original source of the line “something wicked this way comes” is act IV, scene 1 of the play Macbeth:

By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,
Whoever knocks!

In the end, I decided that one very high healed shoe would work. The words are placed to create a leg for the shoe and to create a striped stocking for the leg.

We all have a “ deliciously wicked” playful side and this Kitchen Wand was created to inspire it to come out and play.
